In Rock v18’s new Communication Flows, when you click to create a new communication, the editor starts you from a blank message instead of prompting for a template like the new communication tool does. It would be a big usability win if Rock first asked: “Which template would you like to use?” (with an option for Blank). This matters because it saves time (especially for churches using consistent layouts/branding) and reduces errors and inconsistency (fonts, headers, footer, links, compliance elements).

When editing a sign up group, there is not a way to reassign the parent group to reorganize the groups. We were able to change this via sql but would like for it to be accessible in the UI.

We noticed in the sign -ups system email that there is not a field for a reply to when configuring. We have some lay leaders managing sign ups that do not have our domain emails and it needs to be similar to Leader Toolbox emails where it can be from a domain email but reply to the sign up contact person. We don't see a way to add that to the system email.

Summary Enable a Communication Flow step to trigger a Workflow on the same schedule as the flow step, allowing communication campaigns to include non-digital and staff-driven follow-up actions alongside Email, SMS, and Push messages. Acknowledgement of Scope This proposal intentionally pushes Communication Flows slightly beyond their original focus on messaging. However, it does so in service of a common ministry reality: follow-up is rarely digital only. The goal is not to replace workflows, but to allow Communication Flows to act as the orchestration layer for timing, while workflows handle process and execution. Problem Communication Flows currently support only Email, SMS,...

Description:When using multi-column layouts in the new Email Builder with Responsive Column Stacking enabled, vertically stacked columns have no spacing between them. While padding is available, there is no way to add margin or vertical gap between columns once they stack. This makes responsive emails harder to read and visually distinguish on smaller devices.Additional Details:The Email Builder currently supports:Padding on individual columnsA “Gap Between Columns” setting for side-by-side columnsHowever:There is no margin setting on individual columnsThe “Gap Between Columns” setting does not apply when columns stack responsivelySuggested options:Allowing margin on individual columnsApplying the existing “Gap Between Columns” setting vertically when...

Check-in (both next-gen and classic) should only display schedules that have names. Unnamed schedules (schedules with null or empty names) should be automatically filtered out and not appear as options during check-in.Currently, both next-gen and classic check-in systems can display schedules that have no name. When these unnamed schedules appear in the schedule selection screen, they show up as checkboxes with no text label, creating a poor user experience:Users cannot identify what schedule they're selectingUnnamed schedules appear as empty checkboxesThis creates confusion and potential errors during check-inI believe two small code changes are needed:Next-Gen: Add `.Where( s => s.Name.IsNotNullOrWhiteSpace() )`...

At our church we are needing a way to bulk move a group of kids to a new location. This way if there is an emergency and we have to move to a new location, we are able to identify where the kids are. Moving kids individually takes a lot of time with a lot of kids. We see there is a "check out all" option, so hoping we could add "Move All" as well. We are hoping to move all kids to the same location (not different ones) because we are needing to move everyone at once.

Manage connection type settings is only accessible on the main connections page. Add the ability to manage connection type settings by having a link to the Connection Type Details page directly from the Connection Opportunity.

This is one of those things that isn’t a “game- changing” feature, but I think adding a warning dialog that requires a confirmation before clearing entered data from the Family Registration block could prevent mistakes and promote a better user experience for new families registering kids that may accidentally click the wrong button.

Rock currently has no built-in “test” or “preview” mode for event registrations, which makes it difficult to verify the full registration process without affecting real data. To work around this, we test in a test environment and then rebuild everything in production, which is time-consuming. When staff test directly in production, especially without logging in, it often creates duplicate person records and inaccurate data. A dedicated “Test Mode” (similar to how Rock allows test emails/texts in Communications) would allow us to safely simulate registrations, emails and workflows without impacting live records. It would give admins a way to test the...
